WofA WV Branch Executive Committee Members held a “Christmas Drive” at their Christmas Luncheon. We collected diapers, wipes and baby food to support the Haven Maternity Home in Moundsville, WV. Deanna, or Dee to her friends, has been a member of Mountaineer Contractor’s team for over 8 years. During her time, Dee has been primarily responsible for the day to day traffic control operations of their various paving projects. Dee did not come into the construction industry through traditional means. In her past life, while working as a bartender and cook, she had a regular customer that worked construction. While discussing a career that provided the benefits and retirement she was looking for, he recommended Dee join her local Labor Union.
“And the rest is history as they say. There is no time like the present to try a new career path in the construction industry. Whether you are attending college, vocational school or looking for a change in your current career, there is plenty of room for growth and opportunity in construction,” Dee said.
