The Asphalt Pavement Association of West Virginia, a division of the Contractors Association of West Virginia, is a non-profit trade association
representing the producers of asphalt and aggregates, laydown contractors, asphalt cement suppliers, equipment and material suppliers and other firms involved directly and indirectly in the asphalt industry.

The Association represents the majority of such firms operating in West Virginia with their combined production accounting for over 90 percent of all hot mix asphalt production in the state. The APAWV, formerly the Flexible Pavements Council of WV (FPC), was formed by a progressive group of hot mix plant owners in 1979. The new 2023-2024 Membership Directory is available upon request.

WVDOH Standards Committee & Manuals Committee Meetings ~ September 7

An in-person meeting for the WVDOH’s Standards & Manuals Committees will be held on September 7,  at 9:00 a.m.  The meeting will be held at 1334 Smith Street, Charleston, WV in the Lower-Level Conference room and is open to all interested persons.  Google Meet information is available below.

Copies of the proposed changes for both committees are available by clicking on the article heading and will be available for review on the WVDOH website HERE.
