The WVDOH announces its August Specifications Committee meeting.  The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 4th at 9:00 a.m. and will be held at the WVDOH Technical Support Division office at 1334 Smith Street, Charleston WV, in the lower-level Conference Room. 

The WVDOH Materials Procedures (MP) Committee’s next meeting will be held in person on September 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Materials Control Soils and Testing, 190 Dry Branch Drive, Charleston, WV 25306.  For those unable to attend in person please join via Google Meet.

The APAWV and CAWV are saddened to report that Darren Cheeseman, 57, of Lowell, Ohio, passed away on August 16, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. For 27 years he worked for longtime CAWV and APAWV member firm Asphalt Materials in various positions including plant manager and sales. The CAWV and APAWV extend our condolences to his wife, Cathy, children, Alyssa and Matthew, and the rest of his friends and family.
